The April 2 visit to The Salvation Army Bradbury Home of Loving Kindness was made special by 10 cuddly dogs and cats from Doctor Pets. More than 30 volunteers from Emperor Foundation and pet owners joint hands to bring joy to the elderly ladies and gentlemen there.
The canine and feline friends first broke the ice by a mini show of their tricks. Volunteers then played games with the elderly and took polaroids of them with those adorable little guests. All these served as warm-up before volunteers sat down and chatted with the elderly, who enjoyed the cakes volunteers brought them too. At last, all sang the traditional song “Bless You” together, ending the visit with a big round of applause.
