A disaster struck Sichuan on May 12, 2008, and this has gotten into the hearts of each and every one of us. By showing our dedication, Emperor Group gathered a disaster relief fund to assist the recovery and rebuilding process. A total of HKD 1,032,062 funding was contributed by staff with an additional of the same amount of donation that came from Dr. Albert Yeung Sau Shing as an encouragement to staff. A cheque presentation ceremony was held at Liaison Office of The Central people's Government in The Hong Kong S.A.R., with artistes including Joey Yung and Nicholas Tse representing Emperor Group to present a cheque amounted to HKD 2,064,124 to Officer Lee.
