Emperor Conveyor came to action again on March 25, 2007. Thanks to the coordination of Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation, we mobilized 20 staff and family members to paint a mural at the Pinehill School, a special school dedicated to moderately mentally handicapped students aged 6-16 run by Hong Chi Association in Taipo. We hope by brightening up the environment, we could help motivate students of the school.
Volunteers participating in the event worked in different departments of Emperor Group, some of whom even brought their kids. Under the guidance of a professional artist, they all turned into Picasso and Van Gogh. It was so much fun to paint on the wall! And it was a rewarding experience that they could act and help the less fortunate.
