Dr. Albert Yeung Sau Shing, Chairman of Emperor Group, won "Top Ten Philanthropists 2009" award and was ranked in the "China's Charity Chart 2009" today in Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, Beijing.
"Top Ten Philanthropists 2009" has been organized yearly since 2004 by China Association of Social Workers, with Ministry of Civil Affairs as advisor. Its aim is to promote philanthropy. The award presentation ceremony was broadcast by Beijing Television and attended by high ranking officials.
This has been the third charity award Dr. Yeung has won recently after "The World Chinese Charity Award" presented by United World Chinese Association in October 2008 and the "China Charity Award-The Most Caring Individual Donor Award" presented by Ministry of Civil Affairs in December 2008. Dr. Yeung first won "Special Charity Award" in the same ceremony in 2007.
