Along with the Emperor Foundation's raffle ticket sale, the "Emperor Foundation Bowling Contest"co-organized by the Emperor Foundation and Hopewell Housing Limited was held at "Hong Kong Bowling City" on G/F, EMax, 1 Trademart Drive, Kowloon Bay, on 16 December 2006.
Eight teams were formed by guest contestants from Hopewell Group, EMax, Emperor Group, G. Sushi and New Media Group. In addition to competing for the First, Second and Third Prizes, there were some extraordinary awards available to contestants such as "The Best Looking Award", "The Best Team Spirit Award", "The Best Bowling Skill Award", "The Best Empty Show of Strength Award" and "The Most Charming and Lovely Looking Award". In support of the fund-raising activity, all the teams purchased raffle tickets with alacrity.
Guests attending the activity that day included Mr. Thomas Jefferson Wu, the Deputy Managing Director of Hopewell Holdings Ltd., Mr. Stuart Wang, the Director and General Manager of Hong Kong International Trade & Exhibition Centre, Mr. Henry Yeung, the General Manager of Hong Kong Bowling City, Miss Shirley Hughes, the Chief Executive Officer of New Media Group, Mr. Danny Lee, the Executive Director – Sales and Marketing of New Media Group and artists from Emperor Entertainment Group, including Don Li, Mandy Chiang and Sun Boy'z (members included Steven Cheung, Dennis Mak and William Chan).
