A special dancing performance was put on Bradbury Home of Loving Kindness on July 17 with the aim of entertaining the elderly residents while fostering social integration of able and disabled persons.
In collaboration with Spring Poetry, a local dancing school, a dancing class for children of Emperor Group staff members was held three months before, matched with another class for some intellectually disabled youngsters from Hong Chi Association.
Some dancers were as young as 4 years old, all burning with enthusiasm. They gave each one of their elderly audience a personal greeting before they went back to stage and kick-started the show. No matter it was adorable toddler dance, Korean style dance or funky breakdance, all performances were received with great applause. Before they left, dancers gave presents to the elderly, bringing this pleasant afternoon to an end.
