Mr. Alex Yeung, Executive Director of Emperor Group and Chairman of Brightway Charitable Foundation, has been actively promoting social care. After launching “ALL AS ONE Co-living Scheme” together with New Home Association last year that provide for people who had urgent housing needs or who were in queue for Public Rental Housing, Mr. Yeung led a group of youth volunteers from Brightway Charitable Foundation, the Y.Elites Association and New Home Association to spray anti-bacterial coating for 22 families who now live in co-living space, sending Chinese New Year lucky bag to spread positive energy across the society.
This activity also invited Dr. Bernard Chan, Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Ms. Ellen Tsang, Chairwoman of the Y.Elites Association, Mr. Leung Ping Kim, Executive Director of New Home Association and Mr. Tse Wai Ho, Chairman of Student Elites to participate. Volunteers visited each family to understand their needs and offered them anti-epidemic supplies and other necessities to spread the concept of friendly community. Followed by that, all of the volunteers sprayed GERMAGIC THYME anti-bacterial coating to improve the hygiene conditions and environment for those families.
“This event is in line with the spirit of ‘Co-living and coercion’ which aims to improve the living environment and quality of life for grassroots families, and to help them integrate into the community through the practice of mutual sharing and help”, said Mr. Alex Yeung.
