In the "1-dollar Auction", the grand finale of the "Emperor Christmas Carnival 2006" held on 17 December, all colleagues and subsidiaries under the Group donated precious gifts and personal treasures to raise funds for the Emperor Foundation.
Ten types of items, including MP3 player, mobile phones and digital cameras were put on sale in this auction. Joey Yung donated the trophy from the Metro Hit Radio Song Award with high commemorative value. Yumiko contributed her personal Lesportsac bag. Sun Boy'z donated a jade Chinese cabbage and Emperor Motion Pictures gave a poster of the movie "The Twins Effect" with the handwritten signature of Twins, together with a photo frame. All these auction items were open to bids from the attendees at the auction. All the stars contributed both money and efforts for charity.
The participants of the auction actively bid for their favorite items and prices escalated in the excitement. A total of HK$12,780 was raised from the sale of all auction items which was donated to the Emperor Foundation for charity purpose.
