Emperor International Collaborates with local Green Tech Startup Greenology Group to create Hong Kong's first "Fill n' GO Green Corner," a pioneering initiative in the city. The "Fill n' GO Green Corner" is a unique initiative that combines eco-friendly living, marine conservation, and interactive experiences at the pulse shopping mall in Repulse Bay. Except for the machine for personal care products, Fill n’GO takes the chance to introduce the innovation “The Living Care Machine” for household sanitary items. What is more, the corner showcases an eco-art installation "Fill n' GO X the pulse Go Eco Now," aiming to raise public awareness and encourage environmental actions.
Alex Yeung, Vice Chairman of Emperor International, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, "We are thrilled to work with Greenology in promoting the fusion of smart technology and eco-friendly retail. Through the collaboration, we aim to bring the concept of Smart Naked Shopping (package-free shopping) to the community, further integrating environmental consciousness into daily life. This partnership not only supports local tech startups but also fulfills our commitment to environmental sustainability. Moving forward, we will continue to install Fill n' GO self-service machines in our properties to advocate for plastic-free green living."
Piso Wong and Mason Ngai, Co-founders of Greenology, expressed their gratitude to Emperor International for providing the venue and becoming the first developer to collaborate on the Green Corner project with Fill n' GO. They said, "This collaboration marks a significant milestone for our concept! Locating the Green Corner near the beach at the pulse is the perfect fit, making it a great spot to visit for eco-friendly living during the summer. We hope that in the future, Green Corners will be present in every corner of Hong Kong, providing a way to sell a wide range of waste-reducing and eco-friendly products."
Emperor International has always upheld the principle of conserving natural resources and actively promotes sustainability across various real estate projects, with a particular focus on green issues. In 2023, the Group signed a "Memorandum of Understanding on Green Transport" to build a smart city by adding and upgrading electric vehicle supercharging facilities in Emperor International's property projects in response to the government's goal of green transportation and carbon reduction.
