Coca-Cola: Emperor Cup 2019 Finale

“Coca-Cola”: Emperor Cup 2019 Finals was held at CGA eSports Stadium, Mongkok on 31 August, Saturday. After series of fierce competition between the teams in the past month, the champion went to the team led by Edward Slime《傳說國家隊》, with second runner up led by Yanny@ SuperGirls《圍威喂》and third runner up led by Jimmy《詠春正宗》; along with MVP winner MISSING to share the cash price of over Thirty-Thousand dollars.  The Finals was joined by Mr. Ryan Chow, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of CGA and Chairman of the Hong Kong E-sports Association; Ms. Shirley Hughes, Chief Executive Officer of Emperor Entertainment Group; Mr. Clearence Cheung, Head of Business of EES.

 

Earlier in August, artistes and KOLs including Ken Hung, Heidi (Super Girls), Yanny (Super Girls), Alan@Mr., Bryant Mak, Edward Slime, Rose Ma, Chung Chung, Hins, and Jimmy had been leading their teams to compete for the Finals. After repeated battles,《傳說國家隊》led by Edward Slime won the championship in straight sets of 3 games against《圍威喂》led by Yanny@ SuperGirls and painted a perfect ending for the game. The MVP of the league was attained by MISSING from《傳說國家隊》, with the highest average personal scores accumulated throughout the games.

 

EES has been promoting local e-sports by organizing regular e-sports leagues, e-sports management and mass e-sports education. Ms. Shirley Hughes, Chief Executive Officer of Emperor Entertainment Group, expressed her gratitude for Coca-Cola’s support in the award ceremony and said:  “Coca-Cola”: Emperor Cup 2019 links artistes, KOLs and e-sports together for a more dynamic and entertaining e-sports event. This year’s Emperor Cup could not be a success without the support of all parties. We are delighted to have the opportunity to collaborate with Coca-Cola, allowing us to combine our advantages of both parties and promote the local e-sports culture together. This helps to increase the popularity of e-sports, and allow more people to understand e-sports development in Hong Kong.

 

Live steaming has been arranged to allow audience to experience the intense atmosphere of the games on various online platforms including the TWITCH and YOUTUBE.

The 3rd e-sports tournaments held by EES this year features the highest total cash prize in local mobile tournament; it was also the first to have artistes and KOLs to join hands with their fans to compete for the championship via the mobile game League of Legends.
