Emperor Motion Pictures held a grand movie tour at Hong Kong International Film & TV Market, announcing the seven films to be shot or released this year. They are “Integrity” starring Sean Lau, Nick Cheung and Karena Lam, “The Lady Improper” starring Charlene Choi and Wu Kang-jen, “77 Heartburns” starring Charlene Choi, Pakho Chau and Michelle Wai, “When Sun Meets Moon” starring Kathy Yuen and Daichi Harashima, “Fatal Visit” starring Sammi Cheng, Tong Dawei and Charlene Choi, “Cold Detective” starring Sean Lau, Charlene Choi and Raymond Lam, “Crossfire” starring Donnie Yen.
“Operation Red Sea” directed by Dante Lam has so far received a total of RMB 3.5 billion at the box office, becoming the second highest grossing film in Chinese mainland box office history. Dante Lam also announced that he would partner with Nick Cheung on shooting a Hong Kong crime film in the fourth quarter of this year. The last time the two worked on a film together was about five to six years ago.
The leading actors featuring in the upcoming Emperor Motion Pictures included Donnie Yen, Sean Lau, Nick Cheung, Sammi Cheng, Karena Lam, Charlene Choi, Pakho Chau, Raymond Lam, Kathy Yuen, Daichi Harashima, Carlos Chan, Michelle Wai and Deep Ng etc. have made appearances at the press conference and joined Dr. Albert Yeung, Chairman of Emperor Group in clinking glasses and taking group photos to celebrate.
