(Beijing – 14 October 2015) The topping out ceremony of Emperor Group Centre, a Grade-A retail and office tower located on Chang’An Avenue in Beijing, was successfully held with the presence of Mr. Alex Yeung, Corporate Executive of Emperor Group, Mr. Donald Cheung, Executive Director of Emperor International Holdings Limited and representatives of the construction partner, China Construction First Building (Group) Corporation Limited. Nearly 100 guests, including the management team from the design agencies, supervisory units, contractors, and different consultancies, gathered together to deliver their best wishes to the project. The topping ceremony also drew much anticipation from our leasing clients.
Mr. Donald Cheung, Executive Director of Emperor International Holdings Limited, a subsidiary of Emperor Group, said, “The topping ceremony signifies that our smooth construction progress is going on as scheduled. We are now in the leasing period and we welcome any enquiries from different brands and companies.”
At 2pm on a sunny day in October in Beijing, the topping ceremony began. Every guest was overjoyed when the management on stage kicked off the final step of the topping out and the last piece of construction steel was lifted up to the roof top.
As a prime project in the core area in Beijing, the significance of the topping out ceremony goes far beyond its own meaning as a construction milestone.
