(19 April 2013, Hong Kong) Dr. Albert Yeung Sau Shing, Chairman of Emperor Group, has been awarded the "China Charity Award - The Most Caring Individual Donor Award" for 5 consecutive years since 2008 after his first winning of the same award in 2005.
The award was presented by Mr. Li Liguo, Minister of Civil Affairs, PRC today (19 April 2013) during The Eighth China Charity Award Ceremony, hosted by the Ministry of Civil Affairs at the Great Hall of the People, Beijing. Run under the direct supervision of the State Council, "China Charity Award" is the most authentic award among others of the same category in China. It was also announced during the ceremony that the first “China Charity Federation” was set up and Dr. Albert Yeung was appointed to be Standing Director. He and some other award winners later met Mr. Wang Yong, State Councilor of State Council in Zhongnanhai and exchanged their experience in charity works.
