Empower Community Project
Charity begins with people closet to us but never ends there. Holding on to this belief, Emperor Foundation introduced the "Empower Community" project to encourage more acts of kindness and caring. Regardless of the format, every little makes a mickle. The more caring we give, the better future we shape.
The Foundation has worked with various organizations to organize, sponsor and participate in activities for different charity causes around the year. It has also been leveraging volunteer manpower from staff of Emperor Group and its business units, as well as their family and friends, artistes of Emperor Entertainment Group and youth organizations to facilitate various charity activities across Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China. Coupled with financial support from the Foundation, the "Empower Community" project aims to share our prosperity with the minority in society, and carry on the never-ending charitable work.
The "Empower Community" project provides a value-sharing platform for all business units and talents of the Group, combining business resources and employees' personal expertise to empower people and communities in need, such as home visits to communities, annual volunteer visits to elderly centres, funding and material donations, basic repairing and refurbishment for co-living space, charity movie event, charity bazaar, food assistance, recycling, blood donation, education development, etc. The Group also welcomes public’s participation in building a better society together.
