Emperor Motion Pictures

Emperor Motion Pictures was established in 2000 with a focus on the production, sales and distribution of quality motion pictures. We have since grown into a leading player in the production and distribution arena with one of the most attractive film slates in the Greater China region.

Our goal of producing quality films earns not only outstanding box office results but also critical acclaims and awards at film festivals. In 2009, The Beast Stalker won seven acting awards for its leading actor, Nick Cheung, setting a record for a Hong Kong film. In 2010, Let The Bullets Fly became the first Chinese film to break the US$100 million box office mark in Mainland China.

Among other award-winning and critically-acclaimed films that we have produced include Teddy Chen's Kung Fu Jungle (2015), Jackie Chan's CZ12 (2012), Jiang Wen's Gone With The Bullets (2015) , and Dante Lam's To The Fore (2015), Hong Kong's official entry for the Academy Awards' Best Foreign Language Film category. We also acquire and distribute top Hollywood and Asian films in Hong Kong, including Academy Award winning Departures, controversial Korean drama Silenced, as well as The Hunger Games and Now You See Me franchises.
