Emperor Investment's 'THE JAVA' enjoys strong success 'HARBOUR ONE' to be re-launched tomorrow

30th July 2010, Hong Kong – Emperor Investment Limited (Emperor Investment) held a party today to celebrate the highly successful launch of ‘THE JAVA’, the company’s upscale residential development in Island East. A variety of awards were presented to top-performing real estate agents at the event.

Mr Andrew Yu, Assistant General Manager, Property Department, Emperor Group said, “The property market in Hong Kong has been very robust this year, and Emperor Investment has launched several projects to meet the demands and lifestyle needs of sophisticated homebuyers. ‘THE JAVA’ has been very well received with a total of 50 units sold in a week. This accounts for nearly 70% of the project and will bring in about HK$460 million in revenue.”

Sale of ‘HARBOUR ONE’, Emperor Investment’s premium residential project in Island West, was put on hold in May after nearly 60% of the flats were sold. The company will resume public sale of the 23 ‘HARBOUR ONE’ units together with ‘THE JAVA’ to offer homebuyers choices in both Island East and West tomorrow.

Mr Donald Cheung, Executive Director of Emperor International Holdings Limited, presented awards to representatives of two property agents, Mr. Eric Cheung, Director of Ricacorp Properties Limited and Mr. Richard Lee, Chief Executive officer of Hong Kong Property Services (Agency) Limited,  in recognition of their success in the sale of ‘THE JAVA’.

Ricacorp Properties Limited has achieved the highest sales for ‘THE JAVA’ as of now, while Hong Kong Property Services (Agency) Limited brokered a nearly HK$40 million deal for a simplex unit on 35/F, hitting a record high for the project. Only one simplex is not yet opened for sale.

‘THE JAVA’ is located at 96-106 Java Road, North Point, with a site area of 6,818 square feet. It comprises 75 units, some of which enjoy a harbour view. Embraces a vision of ‘Feel Your Life.
